About Me

Big Ideas inspire me; the way they are conceived drive me. I am always looking for great tales of creativity and constantly hunting the right word without being afraid of getting too close to the edge to find it. I have repeatedly proclaimed independence from dull prose and tried to eradicate clichés. I never get tired of knocking on the same door; eventually it will give way to success. I am immune to frustration because making mistakes only means that I will try harder. I have attempted numerous times to become a great writer, only to understand that I am an unconventional one. I am aware of the never-ending power of my capabilities, possibilities, abilities and strengths, but also of my weaknesses and fears. I always know how much time I have and never remember what I have already forgotten. My pen mostly moves to the beat of ethics, morality and justice, but sometimes to anger and rage because George Lucas once taught me that the “Dark Side” also has pizzazz. Peter Pan showed me how to fly, Tom Petty how to free fall, Bruce Lee how to kick-ass, Stevie Ray Vaughan how to strum hard and Morpheus to “always” take the red pill. I am linchpin: a bicultural-bilingual, tireless-overachiever, self-starter and self-motivated creative who is always avoiding the easy way out.

I am Diego Espinel.
